Eligibility Criteria to appear for CLAT 2020
The terms and conditions that define that students are eligible for CLAT 2020 are discussed in the following points below:
For UG Program
- Minimum Qualification- The aspirant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from recognized university or board with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST).
- Age Limit- There is no age limit to appear for the undergraduate program.
- Appearing students- Students who are going to appear for the qualifying exam in the month of April/May 2020 are also eligible to apply for the exam.
For PG Program
- Minimum Qualification- The candidate must have passed LLB or equivalent exam from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (SC/ST students are eligible for 5% relaxation).
- Age Limit- Age is not a bar to appear for the exam
- Other students- Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam in April/May 2020 are also eligible to apply for the exam.

The candidates seeking admission to law courses offered NLU and participating Institutes need to fill the application form using the correct and verifiable data. Please note the details entered by the students can be verified at the time of the documentation process. Any candidate found entering misleading information will be disqualified by the authority.
Steps to fill CLAT 2020 Application form
- The initial step involves registration by entering a name, email id, and mobile number.
- Next comes up the relevant sections wherein candidates have to enter application form including personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload the scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature, and other related documents within the specification mentioned over there.
- At last, candidates have to the application fee in online mode i.e. using debit/credit cards.

CLAT 2020 Syllabus
For Undergraduate programs
- English Language Comprehension- This section will test your English literature and grammar skils. Topics asked in this section include unseen passages, grammatical problems, and other related problems.
- Current Affairs and General Knowledge- In this section, questions are based on current affairs, general knowledge, awards, and recognition. Through these sets of questions, General Knowledge and awareness of the students will be tested.
- Legal Aptitude- In this section questions will be asked based on the study of law, research aptitude, and problem-solving ability.
- Logical Reasoning- The purpose of the logical reasoning section to test aspirants' ability to identify patterns, logical links , and rectify illogical arguments.
